1: Cocagne was the ball of crushed and hand-compacted leaves by woad growers. It was then dried and sold to dye manufacturers at such a high price that the entire woad industry became extremely wealthy. This cultivation area was located in the Albi-Carcassonne-Toulouse triangle, which became the land of plenty.
