provisional systematic name formed by the Interdivisional Committee on Nomenclature and Symbols (CNIC, Commission on Nomenclature of Inorganic Chemistry in English) of the IUPAC: the element bearing the atomic number 111, each of its digits is translated by its Latin equivalent, attached to the others and accompanied by the suffix -ium (used to designate a chemical element). 111 is thus written using un- for each 1: un-un-un-ium '1-1-1-ium'.
